My Grandfather, my hero
He was a pilot in the Navy and was a part of the "Black Cats" in WWII, these men flew sea planes and performed covert missions at night time. They flew in pure darkness over the South Pacific. He is shown in the top left photo, and in his enlistment photo, and the bottom picture second from the left on the bottom row.
In WWII his plane was shot down and my grandfather and his co-pilot survived floating in a life raft for 7 days. They were the only survivors of his 14 men crew.
He is truly a hero, and I was beyond blessed to have him in my life for 26 years. Not only was he a war hero and won many distinguished awards, but he was hands down the perfect example of a man. Everyone should be so lucky to have a man like this in their lives.

Target Pink Sneaks
Kinda digging these $25 dollar SNEAKS from Target. What do you guys think? Buy?? I know they prolly aren't the best/well made/supportive sneakers but I'm not a marathon runner or anything here. I think they are cute.

Anchor Cover for IPHONE 4
Is it weird that I haven't received my new IPHONE 4 yet from work, but I'm already thinking about this adorable JCREW Anchor Cover?....... Might just have to order it like NOW. The phone should be here soon enough........?

Summer Skin Tips
Summer is finally on its way! And there's nothing better than having healthy, glowing and radiant looking skin. So here are my fave tips and products to achieve that perfect natural look! ☀
1) EXFOLIATE- this is the beginning step to a complete slate. Get rid of all that gunk on your face. I like St Ives Apricot Scrub. It's about 3 dollars at CVS. I use this maybe 4-5 times a week. Also I recommend Dermaligica Microfoliant every now and then, but this is more pricey. Also I SWEAR by my pink Clairsonic Mia. I Love this thing, It really feels like it gets in there and helps any products you put on after ACTUALLY GET INTO YOUR SKIN.
2) WASH- I love Cetaphil cleansing lotion (about 14 bucks) with my clairsonic. I put about 3 pumps directly onto the brush head and scrub!
3) TREAT- I love Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion lately. It's sulfur based, and it seems to really work for me. I recently stopped using my harsh Tazorac lotion at night which my dermatologist prescribed for me, ( I swear by this still) but this Buffering lotion seems to do the trick and is natural and much more safe to use.
4) MOISTURIZE- I'm a huge fan of Laura Mercier products. Especially her Tinted Moisturizer. I use this everyday and buy the large size bottle from Sephora.I usually stock up when they have their 20% off friends and family sale because its a bit pricey too. Its Amazing. I've used this for years followed up with powder to set.
5) TAN- I am an avid tanner, in fact some would say I'm addicted. I love the tanning beds and used them for about 5+ years, but now I love self tanners. Much safer! I am Loving the Sephora self tinted body mist. Also, I Love Estee Lauder Bronze Godess Tinted Self Tanning Milk. Addicted to this Bronzer, so naturally I LOVE the Self Tanner by them too. It really is a great natural tan color.

Ladies!!!!! If you don't already know about this spray by Bumble and Bumble, let me tell you. I Love Love LOVE this stuff. It's PERFECT if you don't feel like drying your hair. (BC its so damn hot that the hair drier makes you sweat)
I've tried a ton of "wave lotions, gels, sprays etc and this is by far THE BEST. Yes, a little pricey but it really is WORTH the money! It gives you the best tousled beachy hair look by far.

Genius.
Rollasole has created the most amazing machine of all time, I'm dying right now. The line of flats are now sold at vending machines in night clubs!!!!! The idea behind the shoes is to give (drunk) (happy) (partypants)women a quick way to switch out of their stilettos. HOW FREAKING GENIUS!?!?!?

Bubble Necklace for less!
