Hair Growth with Coconut Milk

While browsing the inter webs today, I found this tip on Glamour.com.

Wonder if this ACTUALLY works? HMM

Best Beauty Tip: How to Make Your Hair Grow Faster

“Coconut milk helps the hair grow long and thick,” says Indian ayurvedic skincare expert Pratima Raichur. (The kind from a can is fine.) “Rub it onto the scalp, leave it on for an hour or so, then wash it out.”

Just for kicks.

Found this on a friend's facebook page today. It was too good not to share!

Tresemme Dry shampoo

This TRESemmé Dry Shampoo for Oily/Straight to Normal Hair has terrible reviews because it stinks as a cleanser - it adds “build-up.”  I couldnt agree more.  Nasty. Groose. Not worth the 5 bucks. trust me.

LOVE TARGET

Dear Target,
These slippers are just amazing. They are SO comfy, very affordable ($15.00!) and perfect for a day like today. People constantly think they are UGGS! I get endless compliments on these slippers. I urge you, if you haven't tried them, TRY them. They just are that good. I have them in black and tan and usually buy a new pair every 2 years. I get ALOT of wear out of them. I know you probably aren't supposed to wear them outside, but I do, and for $15 bucks WHY the heck NOT! :)
LOVE!

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream review

Ive read in a Billion magazines and blogs that swear this is the MIRACLE cream and tons of celebrities swear by it etc.........BUT  for $18.00 a tube, I was not so sure that I wanted to risk it. On a casual trip to TJ Maxx (to kill time while I was waiting on Plato's Closet to go thru my old clothes and pick our what they wanted) I spotted this for $8.99! Now that's a bargain, so I purchased it.

Let me just say, I'M GLAD I WAITED TO GET THIS ON SALE. It smells like OLD. It reminds me of musty elderly homes. EK! The cream does moisturize extremely well, but I just couldn't get past the smell. Apparently its 58% petroleum jelly and the rest must! Maybe I am that big of a girlie girl that I just can't muster up the strength to smell like I haven't showered in weeks...... I just want to smell fresh and young! Sorry Elizabeth Arden.
Do others agree with me?

Reasons why I LOVE J.CREW. Need I say More? BaNaNas. images via Jcrew Whats even better? I use my College ID for a student discount on full priced items!  Helps a lot, because J.Crew full price is a bit pricey. Otherwise, I buy mostly sale items!

Zara online

Spike the Punch Necklace

Mint Green and Mushroom Hand-painted Crystal Necklace
Remember how I told you that I don't have a penchant for high dollar jewelery? Well, in looking through my favorite blogs, SterlingStyle raved about this necklace she bought on ETSY shop called Spike the Punch.  It was a great price (36 dollars)!!!!! so clearly I thought I couldn't pass it up! It was on such high demand that there was a few week waiting period.........

WELL, It came in the mail yesterday in the cutest leopard print packaging and the necklace is GORGEOUS. I'm very surprised at how nice it looks for such a great price!!!! I plan on wearing it to jazz up some of my boring all black ensembles at work. :) I cant wait! I highly recommend this necklace!

Products Products Products!!!

My necessities. :o)

Yes, I realize that might look like a whole lot of products....... I could narrow them down if need be, but they are my "basics" and in my opinion the best products. Moroccan Oil is the BEST hands down. I use the Morrocan Oil Restorative hair mask once a week, and put the oil in my hair almost everyday on the ends before I blow dry. I would bathe in it if I could. I joke with my friends that if I could buy it in bulk at Costco, I would. It is just that good. Get some if you haven't tried it. Burt's Bee's tinted chap stick in Rose is great because it gives you color but doesn't look like lipstick.  Cover Girl Lashblast Volume mascara is the best for long wear if you have a long day at work.....Estee Lauder Bronze Godess is the best bronzer I've EVER used. One of my best friends, Alex, introduced me to it in college. This huge bronzer lasts for more than a year and doesn't give you the shimmer/glitter on your face. I think the whole glitter shimmer on your face looks SOOO Teenager.
I Love Anastasia eye brow pencil because mine are space due to my under active thyroid :( :( :(  Which reminds me, Viviscal hair supplement helps me ALOT with my thinning hair. I read on one of my favorite websites Into The Gloss that a lot of models swear by this. I tried it, and its actually true! Go figure.

I love Aczone during the day, and Tazorac at night as recommended by my dermatologist to keep my skin clear. To counteract the exfoliation/dryness I use pure Vitamin E cream at night especially around my mouth area. I guess you could say I'm in a constant state of exfoliation. I love the St. Ives scrub and use that morning and night. I really think that I've FINALLY got my skincare routine down and I'm so happy. FINALLY. It literally took years and lots of testing of products. Phew.

What products do you guys swear by?
