Instant Age Rewind concealer

Let me tell you a little about my new favorite under eye concealer/treatment. Its the Maybeline Instant Age rewind eraser. Not only does this under eye concealer have a nice brightening color, BUT it fully covers your under eye dark circles and diminishes puffiness at the same time.  Also, there is a treatment in there that's SUPPOSED to help eliminate fine lines. There is a round sponge at the top, which you turn to dispense the product. Usually I tap it in afterward and follow with setting powder. My personal fave color? "Brightening" Try it, after all its only $8.99! Save your receipt if you don't like it, but I'm pretty sure you will! :o)

Summer hair staples

1) Did you know that towel drying your hair is super damaging? Usually its most damaging if you rub your hair with the towel while its wet. Because of the damage, I skip towel drying/rubbing and use the wierdest looking brush you have ever seen. It's the Goody Quick style paddle brush. It has these "super-absorbent microfiber bristles" that soak up water as you brush your hair. Generally, it isn’t good to brush wet hair, but OVBIOUSLY its not possible to dry your hair withoutbrushing it, so not brushig your hair while its wet isnt really an option. While this brush doesn't get my long hair dry, it DOES seriously cut down on dry time and helps cut down the damage.

2) Macadamia deep repair hair mask- This stuff pretty much speaks for itself. The ratings are always super high for this product and its readily available at most drugstores. I use this deep repair mask about once a week and I LOVE it. I used to get the Morrocan Oil deep repair mask- and I think this stuff works just as well, if not better than the more expensive Morrocan Oil mask.

3) Orofluido- Blows Morrocan Oil  OUT OF THE WATER. This is the bomb.com. This hair treatment has a blend of THREE nourishing essential oils (argan, linseed, cyperus) instead of just ONE like Moroccan oil (argan)
It leaves your hair smooth, shiny, silky, conditioned and healthy feeling.  And just a drop of it made my hair super soft and shiny. AND it cuts down my blow-drying time by about 30%. I'm officially obsessed. Read my full review here

4) Bumble and Bumble surf spray- Okay, obviously most of you have heard about this already. It is basically a cult status product. It is the only thing I can find that gives effortless beach waves without weigfhing my hair down a ton. I spray this on the ends of my hair while it air dries for body and a slight wave. It also works great on wet hair at night. After applying, braid and sleep. tada!

J.Crew summer wedge

These J.Crew wedges are HOT for summer. I just received mine in the mail, the heel height is perfect and I envision pairing them with a nice sun dress for summer.  (thanks to their additional 30% off sale, mine were pretty cheap!) I'm thinking about getting them in tan too because I like them so much!

Importance of Lining the eyes

I had to re-post this, I couldn't agree more with what Amy Nadine, from the Beauty Department.com says about filling in the line above your eyes. It's a must for me!!!

"Maybe I’m a bit neurotic because I’m a makeup artist, but please hear my case! All day long when I’m making eye contact with people, I can’t help but notice that they lined their upper lid, but left a small space of skin peeking through between their lashes {even more so than the photograph above!}. This bothers me only because we line our upper lids to create an illusion of waking up the eye, but if the line doesn’t go all the way to the actual lash line, the illusion isn’t created; rather it just looks like we merely drew a line across. So I’m asking you to take the 15 seconds to go back and fill in the holes to complete the illusion. Here’s how:

1.Reach around and over your head to gently lift the lid upwards, giving you better access to the lash line.

2.With a felt-tip liner pen, fill in the “holes” or anywhere you see exposed skin by sneaking the liner in between your lashes and marking over the space."

Bumble and Bumble hair powder spray BROWN

Let me introduce you to Bumble and bumble hair powder spray in BROWN. This is my holy grail of ALL hair powders. I'll tell you why.

1) It doesn't leave a nasty gray/white tint to my hair as I have dark brown hair
2) helps me not to have to wash my hair every single day- although I do. I use this on weekends sometimes when I don't want to wash my hair.
3) AND HUGE BONUS*** it covers my grays in my roots when I'm in need of a touch up ***. ( I am 26 and have been getting WHITE hair, not really gray, since I was 21. And not just on the sides, were talking in my center part and the bottom....pretty much everywhere. :o(  no joke. its bad.
LOVE this stuff. and yes its pricey ($35) but I don't use it too much and it does the trick. especially when it comes to covering my grays. EK!

No Concealer Concealer

I've been hearing allot about this Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer for under eyes. People say it gives the perfect amount of concealing/brightening to the sensitive under eye area, giving you an awakened look. HM. Even Sephora users give it a 4.5 our of 5 stars. Curious to try this out.
Anyone have any opinions??
